Senior Care Connection
As a part of SFCC, the Senior Care Connection offers free, professional, and confidential services. These services include:
- Up to six individual consultation sessions to explore the elder care concerns;
- Support groups for caregivers
- Educational presentations on elder care issues
- Information about community resources available to older adults and caregivers
- Follow-Up as needed
Community Networking
SFCC counselors communicate regularly with caregiving resources in order to remain knowledgeable about available community referrals. However, SFCC does not rank or evaluate any caregiving resource.
Resource Library
The SFCC library contains a variety of resources addressing the issues of aging. Materials in the library include:
- A directory of government social services
- Books, articles and videos
- Placement options; locals, state and nationwide
- Legal information relating to the elderly
- Home health services
More Services
The Senior Care Connection also addresses senior caregiving issues through groups, educational presentations and periodic articles offered in the "Caltech Weekly".
