Dine & Dialogue: Beyond the Plan: Finding My Way at Caltech and Beyond

Dr. Julie Huang came to Caltech as a first-generation, low-income student with a clear plan, but the path that followed took her somewhere she never expected. Often, a new direction began with reaching out to someone, asking a question, or saying yes to a conversation. Julie will share how curiosity and those small acts of initiative took her from Caltech through Stanford to a career in biotechnology, and why you don't need to know exactly where you're headed to take the next step.
